Escondido, California has been my home since moving from New Jersey in 1973. I attended Rutgers University and during my three years service in the U.S. Army I also attended North Carolina State University and Texas Western University (now UTEP) in El Paso, Texas. My Army service included stints at Fort Bragg, NC,XVIII Airborne Corps, I Corps, South Korea, in G2 and Fort Bliss, TX. Community service in Escondido included serving as President of the Escondido Jaycees being the only recipient, in its 59 years history, of the US Jaycees' Ambasador Award, the highest honor accorded by the U.S. Jaycees. I have served the fourth largest City in San Diego County on the Downtown Revitalization Committee, Transportation Commission and Vehicle Parking Distirct, Planning Commission and 8 years as a City Councilman with two years as Mayor Pro-Tem. Additionally, I served on regional boards at SANDAG, Borders Committee, North County Transit District with two years as Chairman of the Board. My current Rotary membership includes numerous chairmanships and also a Paul Harris Fellowship. I have been licensed in real estate in California since 1976 after a 9 year career in retail store management and my service as noted above give me a unique perspective and knowledge in counseling and selling homes, land and commercial real estate in sales and leasing retail, office and industrial properties. My four years of appraisal work for U.S. Properties and Appraisal Corp. enhance my real estate expertise. During the '90's I worked extensively with the foreclosure market of residential and commercial properties which we are experiencing again today.
